Watts, born 28 September 1968 is a British actress from Britain. When her
family relocated to Australia and she made her film debut in the drama For Love
Alone (1986) and then appeared in three television series, Hey Dad.. (1990),
Brides of Christ (1991), as well as Home and Away (1991) as well as the feature
film Flirting (1991). Watts was an unpromising actor when she first came to the
United States. She acted in small-scale films and eventually was a professional
actress. She gained international recognition through this character. Watts
played the role of a journalist suffering from depression in The Ring, a horror
